Music for tape and modular synth
Ein Tape läuft durch den Raum, in das Modularsystem. Kleine Knöpfe, Räder und Solenoids werden von Hand und Licht betätigt. Daraus ergeben sich endlose Soundscapes. Viele Aspekte sind aleatorisch, das heißt: sie werden nur vom Zufall beeinflusst, statt vom Menschen bedient. Es ist Musik, es ist Visual Art, es ist Philosophie.
Dennis Weijers is an Utrecht based musician with a background of classical music and noisy electronics. His performances include experimental tape loop installations, contemporary accordion and modular synthesizer. Music, noise and visual art merge into a new dimension.
