Toby Connor | Konzert

For 5 years Toby Connor fronted and wrote for ‚The Paris Riots‘ a Manchester based rock n‘ roll band who went on to sign with independent record label ‚Queen Street Records‘. The band recorded a couple of singles and two E.P’s, inclding a session in L.A. with produce Johnny K. ‚The Paris Riots‘ toured the UK and performed at many festivals during this period including Glastonbury, Hop Farm (Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Patti Smith) and three years at Benicassim FIB.

After the band split at the end of 2011, Toby moved to London, where he wrote and recorded his debut solo album ‚The Truth Of The Matter is‘ (Itunes/Spotify) It was recorded live in December 2012 at Soup studios in east London. The album was toured through the UK through 2013 including 2 Glastonbury appearances and supporting Status Quo at a sold out rochester castle, with backing band ‚The Volts‘.

Toby spent a brief time fronting Soul/Punk 3 piece band ‚Blow‘. ‚Blow‘ recorded in mid 2014, again touring the UK before Toby embarked on a solo journey into Europe.

After 6 weeks performing through France, Toby landed in Euskadi (Basque Country), where he has written and released new album SOLO.BAS.QUE.CON
