Benjamin Brian Lee AKA Baby Copperhead is a New York City-based banjo player, guitarist, and composer. While honoring the traditional North African roots of the banjo and its influence on Appalachian Mountain music, Baby Copperhead’s music is often described as “otherworldly” and “sci-fi” because of his experimentation with electronics. Baby Copperhead has collaborated with a wide variety of luminaries around the globe including Nona Hendryx, Eugene Chadbourne, DJ/rupture, Ed Askew, Jim Campilongo, Elliot Sharp, Michelle Dorrance, Karl Blau, Nate Wooley, and many others.
