Brent Arnold’s music departs from the classical, with improvisation, electronics, intricate fingerpicking, and global influences to create an intense and cinematic sound world. Vice.com said he „skirts the traditional form of cello playing and digs deep in the unique.“
Brent studied with cellist Walter Gray of the Kronos Quartet and jazz violinist Michael White, and has played with the Antlers, Filastine, Eyvind Kang, dj/Rupture, Ghost Quartet, and many more. Brent also creates music for film and television including Louis CK’s classic dark comedy Louie.
